This guide explains how to purchase a plan from the Spenza Marketplace efficiently, ensuring smooth and optimized mobile services. By integrating mobile device management solutions, businesses can seamlessly oversee their mobile resources for enhanced operational efficiency.

What is a Mobile Plan Marketplace?

A mobile plan marketplace is a centralized platform where businesses can browse, compare, purchase, and manage mobile connectivity plans from one interface. It simplifies plan selection, activation, subscription management, and billing while helping organizations scale mobile services efficiently.

StepAction
1Select a user or phone line
2Choose or assign a device
3Select a Marketplace plan
4Set the activation date
5Assign a compatible phone line
6Review details and complete payment
7Monitor the active subscription from the dashboard

Single Flow Purchase Plan for Users

Step 1: First, navigate to the Users page in the Enterprise Mobility section within the Spenza platform and select the user for whom the plan is to be purchased. This ensures that the plan is assigned to the correct individual within your organization. Proceed to the Actions menu and select “Purchase Plan.” This step initiates the process.

Step 2: Search for an existing device in the inventory. Selecting a device allows you to check if the user already has an existing device that can be linked to the new plan. Add a new device to the inventory for users who do not have an existing device or require an upgrade. This flexibility ensures that each user has the necessary hardware to utilize the purchased plan effectively. Additionally, mobile device management allows you to keep track of all devices, ensuring that every user is fully equipped to benefit from the features of the new plan.

Step 3: Select the desired plan from the Spenza marketplace and set the activation date based on your organizational needs. By choosing the right plan, you can ensure that the user has the appropriate resources for their mobile needs.

Step 4: Once the plan is selected, confirm the assignment. This step is crucial as it finalizes the selection and prepares for the next step in the purchasing process.

Step 5: Select the phoneline for which the plan is to be purchased. You can explicitly select a phone line with the same operator network as the plan’s operator network from the existing inventory or opt for Auto Assignment. In auto-assignment, Spenza automatically assigns an available phone line that matches the selected plan. Auto assignment helps to quickly allocate resources, especially in large organizations with numerous phone lines. This feature saves time and ensures that the assignment process is seamless.

Step 6: Confirm the assignment, verify the details, and proceed to make the payment. This step is essential to finalize the purchase and activate the plan.

Step 7: Upon successful purchase of the plan, a new subscription is added to the Subscriptions page. This centralizes all your active plans, making it easier to manage and track them. The purchased plan is then activated on the operator network for the specified cost. The service is activated on the operator’s system on the given activation date, and usage is monitored in near real-time.

Purchasing Plan for Phonelines

Similarly, you can purchase a plan for a phoneline.

Step 1: Navigate to Enterprise Mobility → Phonelines. Select the phoneline for which you want to purchase a plan. Ensure a user and device are assigned. If not, click on “Actions” and then “Assign User” and “Assign Device.”

Step 2: Once a user and device are assigned, go to “Purchase Plan.” Select the preferred plan and “Submit” to purchase the plan. The amount will be deducted from the credit balance.

By following these steps, you can efficiently purchase and assign plans within Spenza, ensuring that your telecom resources are effectively managed and utilized. With this unified flow and the integration of mobile device management solutions, you can ensure that every step is completed correctly and efficiently, leading to better resource management and enhanced operational efficiency.
